Subject: Problems using HTTPS boot: Http->Request can't find TLS Service Binding Protocol
Date: Mon, 17 Jun 2019 16:14:32 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <00ccdb12-75c3-b563-5ffa-2f3b21fa92ee@bluestop.org> (raw)
I'm having problems using HTTPS boot in OVMF: Http->Request can't find
the EFI_TLS_SERVICE_BINDING_PROTOCOL.
I've built OVMF with NETWORK_TLS_ENABLE, so I don't know why it's not
working.
The debug log (with additional lines I've added) contains:
Station IP address is 192.168.0.88
InstallProtocolInterface: 7A59B29B-910B-4171-8242-A85A0DF25B5B 7EB82020
InstallProtocolInterface: 65530BC7-A359-410F-B010-5AADC7EC2B62 7EB82E38
InstallProtocolInterface: 41D94CD2-35B6-455A-8258-D4E51334AADD 7EB837A0
URI: https://192.168.0.1:443/boot/loader.efi
Calling Http->Request
Failed to find TLSSB Protocol
Failed to create Tls Child Handle
Http->Request failed: 7
Error: Could not retrieve NBP file size from HTTP server.
Error: Network device error.
