OK, I managed to massacre the wording of my point :/

I didn't mean that Andrew's ACK was a formality because Leif and you
agreed on the list. I meant that, to my understanding, Andrew agreed as
well (off-list), and because of *that*, his ACK on the list was left as
a formality.
