Subject: [Patch v8 1/2] MdePkg: Fix SafeString performing assertions on runtime checks
Date: Tue, 19 May 2020 20:01:19 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20200520030120.21576-2-michael.d.kinney@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20200520030120.21576-1-michael.d.kinney@intel.com>

REF: https://bugzilla.tianocore.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2054

Runtime checks returned via status return code should not work as
assertions to permit parsing not trusted data with SafeString
interfaces. Replace ASSERT() with a DEBUG_VERBOSE message.
