In the section "GCC Common" there's
DEBUG_*_*_OBJCOPY_ADDDEBUGFLAG =
--add-gnu-debuglink=$(DEBUG_DIR)/$(MODULE_NAME).debug
RELEASE_*_*_OBJCOPY_ADDDEBUGFLAG =
A NOOPT line similar to the DEBUG one needs to be added for debugging to
work.
I've verified that by adding it the reload-uefi command runs and
single-stepping works.
