Hello Maciej / Siyuan:
One of the OEM tried to download grub Boot loader over IPv6 Pxe Boot able to boot success when Client and Server are in same Network (Connected without router). UefiPxeBcDxe Driver could download grubx64.efi boot loader and launches without any issues.
When client and server is connected in Network Environment with Router, 10.108.216.62 as client Ip address and Server address as 10.108.216.11 boot failed. Refer Network diagram below.
[cid:image001.png@01D952AE.91104510]
UefiPxeBcDxe Driver could download grubx64.efi boot loader and during launch Bootloader is booted and initiated Dhcp process again to obtain Ip address.
Release packet and reply are found in wireshark log (refer packet No: 3754,3755) in PxeBootIssue.pcap however client failed to initiate TFTP get request
Please refer working and failed wireshark log for references. In Working wireshark log , Tftp get request is initiated when Dhcp process is finished.(refer 3762 packet No)
Could you please guide to root cause the issue.
Thanks
Siva
