Subject: [edk2-staging/ProtectedVariable][RFC] ProtectedVariable branch is created for evaluation
Date: Thu, 9 Apr 2020 07:34:50 +0000	[thread overview]

Hi,

ProtectedVariable is an effort to address Window 10 (1903) requirement for UEFI
variable protection purpose (integrity and confidentiality). There're actually
two branches created:

1) https://github.com/tianocore/edk2-staging/tree/ProtectedVariable/libs
All edk2 code changes to support variable integrity and confidentiality.
Platform code changes are not included and out of scope of this branch.

2) https://github.com/tianocore/edk2-staging/tree/ProtectedVariable/test
Unit test cases plus code changes in 1). The reason to create separate branch
for it is that the test cases are making use of some code from old HBFA test
   framework (edk2-staging/edk2-host-test).

Please see Readme.MD in branch 1) for details of this feature.

Regards,
Wang, Jian J
