Subject: Re: [edk2-devel] [PATCH v7 1/1] MdePkg/BaseLib: Add QuickSort function on BaseLib
Date: Tue, 12 Oct 2021 00:09:08 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <PH0PR11MB5174C2DECE2E2587ADE66A5C8EB69@PH0PR11MB5174.namprd11.prod.outlook.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <006501d7be3e$40420fc0$c0c62f40$@byosoft.com.cn>

I send Patch v9, have anyone free can help me for the reviewed by.
Patch v8 is "move SORT_COMPARE definition from MdeModulePkg\Include\Library\SortLib.h to MdePkg\Include\Library\BaseLib.h, and then let SortLib.h include BaseLib.h."

Patch v9 is rollback to Patch v7.

Thanks,
Ian Kuo

Subject: 回复: [edk2-devel] [PATCH v7 1/1] MdePkg/BaseLib: Add QuickSort function on BaseLib

Michael and Marvin:
I understand your concern. I want to reduce the duplicated definition for the same function. I will not keep my idea if you are both OK to define BASE_SORT_COMPARE and SORT_COMPARE.

Thanks
